The first documented game of cricket being played at the ground on County Bridge is in 1922 when the club joined the Bradford Mutual Sunday School Cricket League (BMSSCL).
It was eight years before the club won its first honour when the Second XI won the BMSSCL Section 2. It was a further eight years before the Second XI repeated the feat of 1930 and won the BMSSCL Section 2. The First XI's first honour came a year later when they secured the BMSSCL Group C title.

Another barren spell occured between 1939 and 1950, during the Second World War period and the reconstruction of Europe thereafter, before the First XI tasted success winning the BMSSCL Group B title. They secured another title in 1957 before they left the BMSSCL and joined the Keighley and District Cricket League.
The club failed to make any impression in their new league and the struggles of the club were highlighted in the 1962-63 season when the club didn't run a Second XI. The start of the 1964 season saw them return to the BMSSCL, where further success was tasted by the First XI before the decade ended.
For the Second Team their only success of the 60's was a cup final appearance in the H Broadbent Trophy, played at Clayton. It wasn't until 1977 that the Second XI were once again playing in the H Broadbent Trophy final but like the first final it was without success. In 1979 the First XI were BMSSCL Group C winners and in the same year the Second XI made it to the cup final.
The start of the 1980's was the start of the clubs most successful spell, winning 8 trophies and reaching two more cup finals in a 13 year spell. The Second XI were BMSSCL Section 2 winners in 1981 and 1983. In 1983 the club were also league winners of the West Riding Sunday Council Cricket League (WRSCCL). In 1985 the Second XI made their fourth cup final appearance at Salem and the club were league runners-up in the WRSCCL.
The First XI's first cup final appearance came in the 1986 Sir James Roberts Cup at Manningham Mills. The club left the BMSSCL after the 1988 season and joined the Bradford Central Cricket League. A year later and the First XI became Division 3 winners.
The clubs most successful season came in 1993 when both the First XI and the Second XI became Division 3 winners as well as being the aggregate points winners. The Clubs last honour to date came in 1994 when they lifted the Wilkinson Sword trophy.
In 2001 with the outbreak of the foot and mouth epidemic, the club was forced to play all of its games away from home due to the location of the ground. 'Home' games were played on Sundays at the opposition grounds.

In 2003 the club took the decision to switch to the Halifax Cricket League in time for the 2004 season.
After a bright start to their time in the Halifax League, the club has since struggled. The First XI didn't win a game in seasons 2006-2008 and finished bottom on all occasions. The Second XI fared slightly better finishing bottom, seventh and ninth over the same period.
Despite such recent turmoil the future looks brighter than it would seem. In 2008 the club struggled to put out two teams of 11 most weeks. This issue seems to have been addressed with a few new additions to the team. Also the ground has been redeveloped and 2009 is the second year that a junior section will run.
2009 was definitely a season of progress. The First team managed to win 3 times beating Queensbury, Augustinians and Stainland. The Second XI also had success winning 6 times. The season will probably be best remembered for being the year when the water was cut off! 2009 was a crazy year for results with the club having the largest losing margin and one of the highest winning margins in the same season. The First XI lost by 331 runs against Premier Division opposition in Mytholmroyd, before beating Augustinians by 220 runs. Augustinians were bowled out for 37, chasing 257.
Foundations were laid in 2009 that the club can build on in 2010.
